Our admissions process is designed to ensure that students are academically prepared, socially ready, and aligned with the mission and expectations of Everest Academy.
Admission Process
Effective January 2025, Everest Academy launched a new admissions process to better manage enrollment demand and waitlist applications.
Due to limited seat availability and increased demand, waitlist applications do not roll over from one academic year to the next. Each year, the waitlist is cleared, and a new application window opens to accommodate changing student and family circumstances.
Important Enrollment Updates
- All students, both current and new, must complete enrollment annually.
- The new admissions process applies to students in PK3 through Grade 12.
- Beginning with the 2027-2028 school year, PK3 applications will be open to the public during the designated application window.
Re-Enrollment for Current Students
Registration Window
December 19 – January 31
Current families may access the re-enrollment application through QuickSchools during the enrollment period.
New Student Enrollment
Waitlist Application Window
January 6 – February 28
New families must submit a waitlist application through the Everest Academy website during the application period.
Due to limited classroom availability, the number of waitlist applications accepted each year is capped at 30.
Beginning in mid-February, qualified applicants will be contacted according to the admissions priority order listed below.
Families selected for enrollment must complete the enrollment process within three (3) calendar days, including the day notification is received.

Applicants with Siblings Currently Enrolled at Everest Academy
All Other Applicants
Admission Assessment Policy
Students who do not provide state standardized test results, or students applying after the first day of the academic year, are required to complete a complimentary admissions assessment administered by Everest Academy.
Assessment Requirements
- Students must score 70% or higher to meet admissions requirements.
- Students who do not meet the minimum score may retake the assessment one time.
- A one-month waiting period is required before retesting.
- A $25 assessment retake fee applies.
- Students scoring within a borderline range may be admitted on academic probation, which includes academic monitoring and additional support requirements.
Admission Requirements
Students applying to PK3 and PK4 must:
- Be 3 years old (PK3) or 4 years old (PK4) by September 1 of the enrollment year.
- Be fully toilet trained.
- Demonstrate age-appropriate social and emotional readiness.
- Successfully transition into school routines and classroom expectations.
Adjustment Period
Students are provided a four-week adjustment period to adapt to their new environment.
If recurring behavioral concerns or significant separation anxiety persist beyond this period, the School Counselor will work with parents to create an intervention plan. Continued enrollment may be reviewed if concerns remain unresolved.
Students applying to Elementary School must:
- Submit passing report cards.
- Meet age requirements for grade placement.
- Be 5 years old by September 1 for Kindergarten admission.
- Meet or approach state standardized testing benchmarks (Grades 4–5).
Students who do not submit state assessment results or who enroll after the academic year begins will be required to complete an admissions assessment.
Students applying to Middle School must:
- Submit passing report cards.
- Meet or approach state standardized testing benchmarks.
- Provide a positive disciplinary record from their previous school.
- Complete an admissions assessment if standardized testing scores are unavailable.
If disciplinary records cannot be provided, a counselor evaluation may be required.
Students applying to High School must:
- Submit passing report cards.
- Meet or approach state standardized testing benchmarks.
- Provide a positive disciplinary report from their previous school.
- Complete an admissions assessment if standardized testing scores are unavailable.
- Schedule academic advising prior to finalizing enrollment.
If disciplinary records are unavailable, a counselor evaluation may be required.

- Most Recent Report Card Showing Passing Grades (Kindergarten and above)
- Disciplinary Report from Previous School
- Voided Check or Banking Information (Account Number and Routing Number) for ACH payments
- State Standardized Test Scores (Grades 4 and above)

Please note that Everest Academy does not maintain a dedicated Special Education Department. Student support documentation will be reviewed to determine what accommodations may reasonably be implemented.
