Dress Code

Promoting Modesty, Professionalism & School Pride

The Everest Academy dress code reflects our commitment to Islamic values, modesty, safety, and creating an environment focused on learning. Students are expected to arrive at school clean, well-groomed, and in proper uniform each day.

Uniform Ordering

Uniform requirements apply to students in PK4 and above. PK3 students are not required to wear a school uniform but must follow Everest Academy’s general dress and hygiene guidelines.

For TEFA Parents
TEFA families should follow the uniform ordering instructions provided through the TEFA program. Required school uniform items must meet Everest Academy’s approved dress code and uniform requirements.
For Non-TEFA Parents
Non-TEFA families may order required uniform items directly through Everest Academy’s approved online uniform vendor. All items marked as school-vendor-only items, including uniform pieces featuring the Everest Academy monogram, must be purchased through the approved vendor.

General Dress & Hygiene Guidelines

Students are expected to:

  • Wear clean, modest, loose-fitting, and comfortable clothing.
  • Avoid clothing with inappropriate language, images, or graphics.
  • Wear closed-toe shoes that are safe and easy to wear.
  • Keep hair clean, neat, and well-groomed.
  • Maintain short, clean nails free of nail polish.
  • Wear only simple earrings (girls only).
  • Wear school-approved sweaters and jackets while indoors.
  • Follow all grade-level uniform requirements.

Pre-Kindergarten 3 (PK3)

PK3 students are not required to wear uniforms but must follow the school’s general dress and hygiene guidelines.

Not Permitted:

  • Sleeveless shirts
  • Tank tops
  • Spaghetti straps

Boys (PK4–Grade 12)

Daily Uniform:

  • Navy blue polo shirt with school logo
  • Khaki uniform pants
  • Closed-toe shoes

P.E. Uniform:

  • Sky blue Eagles jersey
  • Navy athletic pants
  • Closed-toe athletic shoes

Girls (PK4–Grade 3)

Daily Uniform:

  • Navy polo shirt or navy polo dress with school logo
  • Khaki pants
  • Closed-toe shoes

Headscarves are not required but must be brought to school for Salah.

P.E. Uniform:

  • Sky blue Eagles jersey
  • Navy athletic pants
  • Closed-toe athletic shoes

Girls (Grades 4–6)

Daily Uniform:

  • Navy polo shirt or navy polo dress with school logo
  • Khaki pants
  • White headscarf
  • Closed-toe shoes

P.E. Uniform:

  • Sky blue Eagles jersey
  • Navy athletic pants
  • Closed-toe athletic shoes

Girls (Grades 7–12)

Daily Uniform:

  • Navy school abaya
  • White headscarf
  • Tights, leggings, or fitted pants underneath
  • Closed-toe shoes

P.E. Uniform:

  • Everest Gym Suit or Sky Blue Eagles Jersey
  • Navy athletic pants
  • Closed-toe athletic shoes

School Spirit & Casual Dress Days

Students may wear:

  • Islamic-themed casual attire on the first Wednesday of each month.
  • Approved spirit shirts on designated School Spirit Days.

All clothing must continue to meet school modesty and dress code standards.

Students are required to wear regular uniforms on Fridays.

Dress Code Violations

If a student arrives out of uniform:

  • Parents may be contacted to bring appropriate clothing.
  • Violations are documented in the school's system.
  • After the third violation, a $10 per day dress code fee may be assessed until compliance is achieved.
